I love burritos and if you don't mind me bragging, I happen to make a really kick ass burrito myself! (I am not the only one who thinks so...) I am more a fan of the "Americanized" burrito than traditional Mexican, but I'll try it! I realized the other day that I really have mixed feelings about Mexican food and sadly I think I would rather eat
Ameri-Mexican than something authentic.
I think the first real mind-blowing burrito I ever ate was at Bombers in Albany, NY. It's a great little hole in the wall with lots of style and great artsy decor. I had a similar experience the first time I ate at
Chipotle in NYC, but sadly have not been able to match it since moving to Florida. Although, I have become a fan of their pork burrito lately. Even still, I think I'd rather eat a homemade, handmade chicken burrito with fresh
guacamole and sour cream any day of the week!
Apparently I have had burritos on the mind lately as I made two little slugs with mini burritos recently! And as a matter of fact, we just had them for dinner a few nights ago! Yum! So here's a little collections of burrito related things, my homage to the delicious wrapped treat!
